Oil painting Ice Scream by Carolina Seth

Ice Scream

Every year, the townspeople anxiously awaited the arrival of the Grand Carnival. The most popular attraction wasn’t an attraction at all: “Mr. Ikeda’s Magical Sweets Shop”.

Old and young enjoyed delicious frozen treats with names like: Bloody Berry and Alien Brains. Mr. Ikeda never revealed the secret family recipe and would simply serve your request with a polite smile.

It’s been said that as you eat and if you listen carefully, you can hear whispering screams coming from the ice cream. One had to be careful with the tongue not to get bitten, but that’s just half the fun.

Oil on fine art paper. 3.5" x 5" (8.25 x 12.75 cm). Private collection.
